Standing Hero founded by Austin, Texas based front man, Brian Runkel launched the self titled 5 song EP November 6th, 2020.

Building upon his early midwestern Ohio raised roots of rock and roll and Americana, he enjoys creating simplistic melodies and arrangements to the ever expansion of life. 

As a singer songwriter, his influences range from a myriad of legendary artists from Roy Orbison to the late Chris Cornell.
